Sustainability

Preserving the environment is of great importance to me and, given the natural themes found in much of my work, it’s no surprise that it’s also a priority for many of my customers.

I ensure that the great majority of the metals I use are guaranteed recycled.  All of the sheet and wire stock is 100% recycled and the sterling chain I use is manufactured in the USA, meaning it is almost certainly recycled but has not been certified as such. I use only low impact chemicals which means finding alternatives to the harsh acids and fluxes typlically used in jewelry makeing. With a little thoughtfulness a studio can be made cleaner without comprising the quality of the jewelry.  Its easier on my health, the health the man and cat I share a home with and the health of the planet.
