New Works
I know it’s been nothing but crickets here and I apologize. Wedding season has kept me busy. I’ve had just enough time to put together a new batch for Venue and thought I’d share a few pieces with you here. If you’re in Ballard, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. The owner, Diane, offers a great collection of locally made art, jewelry and gifts and it’s always nice to chat with her.

Schizophrenia and the Art of Making Jewelery – New Works
Sometimes I get in different moods … very different. Sometime I feel sweet and nice and I want jewelry reminiscent of a walk in the woods but with a bit of sparkle. Sometimes I feel raw and dirty and totally at home in my urban surroundings. I’m sure I’m not the only one that loves both a night on the town and a weekend in the woods. I want to bring you jewelry that is reminiscent of both of those experiences.
You’re already familiar with my botanical jewels and now, I am very pleased to introduce you to something completely different. Meet Under Distress – my latest line of anodized and distressed titanium jewelry in oil slick colors. My new shop is live and I’ve added some brand new pieces for you. Please take a look and let me know what you think.
Lichen & Lychee Featured on Komo News, Seattle Pulp Blog
A great little press piece about my jewelry came out today on Seattle Pulp, the new Komo News blog. I was super flattered when my writer friend, Nico, asked if she could visit my studio for an interview. She did a fantastic job describing what my work is all about … no big surprise as she’s a great writer. Please take a moment to read the article here.
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
A few of my pieces are included in the online exhibition Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder on the Ganoksin blog. The exhibition, put together by Beth Wicker, is a collection of jewelry that is made with anything other than precious metals. It steps outside the box of what is commonly though of a jewelry and questions our sense of value. Please take a minute to check it out here.
